What is a IPL Laser Acne Reduction Treatment?
Intense pulsed light is a laser facial treatment that uses light waves to improve the skin’s appearance, reducing acne while at the same time treating redness and pigmentation. A special acne filter eliminates the acne causing bacteria, reducing inflammation and excess sebum production. This treatment is also beneficial for cystic acne, as the cysts themselves can be targeted and destroyed.
It also targets red and brown marks on the skin helping to improve scarring and blemishes. Acne can be effectively treated with IPL alone or in combination with other treatments, such as Ozone Therapy or our High Frequency treatment.

How long is the treatment?
Each session is dependent on the size of the treatment area, see table below for treatment times. Your treatment will be tailored to your individual requirements which will be discussed in your pre-treatment consultation. Additional time will be required if you require more than one area or additional treatments.
