What is a Bio Current Face Lift?
Its like your face doing a work out. The face is the only part of the body where the skin is attached to the muscle so with the effects of aging and gravity it will begin to subside and sag. There are 32 different muscles of the face that are manipulated during the microcurrent facial treatment.
This low level of electrical current works in harmony with the body's natural healing processes. At a cellular level, microcurrent stimulates activity in the cell to create massive amounts of adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP), known as the "energy of life". ATP drives a number of biological processes including muscle contraction/re-education and protein (collagen and elastin) synthesis. Facial toning is achieved through muscle re-education, to shorten slackened muscles, such as in the cheeks or forehead, lifting up the whole ‘scaffolding’ of the face.
With a surgical face lift, the muscles and skin are cut and stretched causing scars and scar tissue. Within a few years of a surgical lift the muscles and skin will again begin to sag. How long is the treatment?
Each session is dependent on the treatment area, but we advise around 20 minutes upwards.Your treatment will be tailored to your individual requirements which will be discussed in your pre-treatment consultation. Additional time will be required if you require more areas.

Who Is Suitable for Bio Current Face Lifting?
Any one with loose or lax skin anywhere can have the procedure performed. The best candidates are those with mild laxity or looseness of the skin. Thinner-skinned patients respond better than those with thicker skin. All Skin types and tones can be treated.
